Peshawar: Peshawar High Court (PHC) has dismissed bail plea of facilitator in police lines blast. Bail plea of facilitator in Police lines blast, Imtiaz alias Torashappa came up for hearing in PHC Saturday.

The court said in the decision the accused could not prove his innocence. The petitioner hails from Afghanistan and his family members have also remained affiliated with proscribed outfits. Family members of the petitioner have been killed in anti state activities too.

According to court's decision precious lives were lost and several persons were injured. In this situation we cannot grant bail to the petitioner.

This is third petition for bail of the applicant. If the accused is released then there is fear of his involvement in such activities again. Therefore bail plea is dismissed.

As per counsel of the petitioner accused is 18 years old, decision says.

The counsel has said prosecution has failed to complete trial of the accused in six months.
