ISLAMABAD:Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has approved draft of new auto policy 2026-31. Policy will soon be presented before federal cabinet for final approval.
As per media report, law ministry authorities gave briefing to PM Shehbaz Sharif on draft of new auto policy. The PM directed to present new auto policy before federal cabinet.
Sources said proposal for maintaining balance in the prices of local and imported hybrid vehicles is included in new policy.
The fitness certificate will be made mandatory for imported vehicles.
