Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has cancelled ministers and members of parliament visits in the perspective of 27th constitutional amendment.

According to media reports, PM has directed all the ministers and members of parliament to remain in Islamabad.

Speaker National Assembly (NA) Ayyaz Sadiq has been assigned important task to garner consensus of all political parties on 27th constitutional amendment.

PML-N has issued directives to party and allied parties Members of NA to reach Islamabad immediately.

Parliamentary sources said government enjoys support of 224 members of parliament required for approval of 27th constitutional amendment in the NA.
