PM condemns attacks by the Houthi militia against Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea.

Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif during his telephonic conversation with Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has condemned dastardly attacks by the Houthi militia against Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea.

PM condemned attacks by the Houthi militia against Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea in the strongest terms saying such steps are unacceptable. This is violation of international law. They threaten freedom of navigation and commercial shipping and undermine regional peace and security .

We reiterate complete solidarity of Pakistan with brother Islamic country Saudi Arabia and express our view that I , Field Marshal Asim Munir along with entire Pakistani nation stand with Saudi leadership and brotherly people of State with determination and commitment.

PM Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud agreed they will continue close cooperation for regional peace, security and stability.

The two agreed on working together for ensuring uninterrupted flow of lawful maritime commerce in the Red Sea, Strait of Hormuz and the wider region.
