ISLAMABAD:Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has constituted a 3-member committee under federal secretary for commerce for investigation against 8 officers of PIMS. Federal commerce secretary Jawad Pal will be convener of 3-member committee.

Federal Secretary education and professional training Nadim Mehboob and federal secretary for human rights division Abdul Khaliq Sheikh will be members of the committee. Muhammad Bakhsh Sangi, joint secretary (hospital) of ministry of health has been appointed departmental representative for committee.

Committee will probe into the allegations against 8 officers including former executive director PIMS Professor Dr Rana Imran Sikandar, joint ED (Non medical) Chaudhry Waris Ali Raza, professor Dr Nosheela Amjd, Dr Matahir Shah, Dr Saadia Riaz, Dr Aneeza Jalil , Dr Nagham Nawaz and Muhammad Usman.

Committee will complete the proceedings within 60 days and present report and recommendations to PM.
