ASTANA: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has directed to evolve road map for fortifying bilateral cooperation with Russia'Soon a high ranking delegation of Pakistan will visit Russia.PM Shahbaz Sharif is likely to visit Russia.This big decision has been made for bolstering ties in diverse sectors between the two countries with reference to meeting between PM Shehbaz Sharif and Russian president Vladimir Putin.According to government sources PM has constituted a committee for making preparations for a visit of high level delegation to Russia and for evolving road map for bilateral cooperation.This committee will comprise 16 members with federal minister for planning Ahsan Iqbal as head.The other members of committee will include federal ministers for trade, petroleum, energy. Rana Ahsan Afzal coordinator of PM will also be part of the committee.Secretaries of power division and ministries of finance, food security, trade, petroleum, foreign affairs, railway, industries and production and plann ing will also include in the committee.Committee will work out road map for bilateral cooperation with Russia in energy, gas and oil, steel mills, agriculture, railway and banking.A review meeting will also be held in this regard on return of PM Shehbaz Sharif to Pakistan.PM Office has issued notification for constitution of committee. Ministry of planning will provide secretariat support for the meetings of committee.
