Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over sending 3.6 billion dollars remittances by overseas Pakistanis in the month of July.

He said this in a statement issued here.

13 percent surge on annual basis in remittances by Overseas Pakistanis in July 2026 is good omen, he added.

He said increase in remittances by 4.5 percent on monthly basis was recorded in July 2026. It reflects consistent contribution of overseas Pakistanis in national economy.

He said the positive role by overseas Pakistanis in the stability of national economy and development is highly appreciable.

Overseas Pakistanis are priceless part of national economic mainstream.

He held the remittances being sent by them are playing vital role in national economy.

Government will continue its steps for extending facilities to overseas Pakistanis and resolution of their problems.
