Islamabad: Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday confirmed that the Prime Minister of Pakistan has received an invitation from the President of the United States to join the Board of Peace on Gaza.
In response to media queries, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mr Tahir Andrabi said Pakistan would continue to remain actively engaged with international efforts aimed at promoting peace and security in Gaza.
He reaffirmed Pakistan's longstanding position that a lasting solution to the Palestine issue must be achieved in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions.
The spokesperson added that Pakistan's participation reflects its commitment to peace, stability, and justice in the region.
