Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif while launching first youth employment policy has said youths are future of Pakistan and the country cannot go ahead in the race of development without providing equal opportunities of employment to them.
"Under policy 35 percent quota is being allocated for women in labor force, he said this while addressing a ceremony on the occasion of international youth day .
As a Khadim Punjab I took several important measures for promotion of education and I made effort that Pakistan should not stay behind other countries in the field of education, he said.
He went on to say the opportunities of education were provided to students of other provinces from Punjab.
He observed how tragic it is that on one side children of affluent class is seeking education in the most expensive educational institutions and on the other side the child of poor man stands deprived of opportunity of education.
Citing to Aitchison college he said the child of poor man cannot even think of seeking education therein.
