Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has left for Baku on a two-day official visit to Azerbaijan. PM will participate in the events marking the 5th anniversary of Victory Day.

He is visiting Baku at the invitation of President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

During the visit important meetings are expected between the two leaders.

All the aspects of bilateral relations including trade, investment, energy, defence and education will be discussed in the meeting.

This visit is demonstration of Pakistan firm support with reference to regional security and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar is also accompanying the Prime Minister during the visit.
