Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif while taking strong notice of alleged irregularities in Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL) has ordered for transparent investigation.

As per sources this step has been taken following the registration of complaint by Transparency International of Pakistan on alleged violation of PPRA laws.

The PM has directed the respective authorities that complete and transparent investigation be made in respect of the complaint.

PM made it clear if the allegations are proved then stern action be taken against the persons found responsible.

He directed that transparency and accountability be ensured in government departments at every cost.
