Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated the resolve to provide opportunities of modern education, skills development, employment and entrepreneurship to youths.
Minister for Kashmir Affairs Engineer Amir Muqam and Chairman Prime Minister's Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan held separate meetings with PM.
Engineer Amir Muqam gave detailed briefing to PM on the matters related to AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, ongoing development projects and public welfare oriented measures.
He apprised the PM of recent election in AK and election process.
The PM appreciated the performance of Engineer Amir Muqam with reference to AK election saying the agenda of development of Azad Kashmir and prosperity of people of Kashmir will be moved forward under vision and guidance of Quaid Nawaz Sharif.
Chairman Prime Minister's Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan also called on PM in Islamabad.
He gave detailed briefing to PM on ongoing steps under PM Youth Program, projects and future strategy.
The Prime Minister directed that the ongoing projects under the Prime Minister's Youth Programme be made more effective, result-oriented and better aligned with the genuine needs of young people, while further accelerating implementation of priority projects.
The meeting also discussed further expanding the scope of the ongoing educational, skills development, digital and welfare programmes under the Prime Minister's Youth Programme, as well as ensuring their effective and transparent implementation.
PM said youths are the most precious asset of country and guarantor of bright future of Pakistan.
