PM Shehbaz holds meeting with local elders & parliamentary leaders in Dera Ghazi Khan

Dera ghazi khan: Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with local elders and parliamentary leaders in Dera Ghazi Khan on Saturday.

During the meeting, the local leaders lauded the Prime Minister for the recent financial stability achieved in the country.

They expressed their gratitude to the government for the development initiatives aimed at welfare of the area.

The Prime Minister urged them to play an active role in promoting public welfare.

Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Industries Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan were also present on this occasion.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif laid the foundation stone of the 330 kilometer long four-lane dual carriage way road from Rajanpur to Dera Ismail Khan in Dera Ghazi Khan.

The project, including eleven bypass roads, will be completed at an estimated cost of one hundred and twenty-one billion rupees.

The Prime Minister was briefed that the project will be completed in two years. Six bypasses will be constructed from Rajapur to Dera Ghazi Khan. Rajanpur, Fazilpur, Muhammad Pur, Jampur Mana Ahmadani and Kot Chatta Dera Ghazi Khan bypasses are included in the project.

Similarly, five bypasses will also be constructed from Dera Ghazi Khan to Dera Ismail Khan, including Shah Sadruddin, Kala, Shadan Lound and Ramak.
