Lahore: Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Governor House, Lahore to discuss the political and economic situation of the country.Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Interior Minister Senator Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, and Senator Saleem Mandviwalla were also at the meeting.During the discussions, views were exchanged on the country's political and security situation. The meeting also included a discussion on the Prime Minister's recent visits to friendly nations. Besides, cooperation among political allies was discussed.President Zardari emphasized that the government should introduce measures in the upcoming budget to provide relief and welfare for the common people. He further stressed the need for political allies to work together in the national interest.
