Islamabad: Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan has said that Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has sent a formal letter of congratulations to US President Donald Trump on his assumption of office on 20th January.This was stated by FO Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan in reply to a question asked during the weekly press briefing on Thursday.There was a question during press briefing on whether our PM had sent a congratulatory letter to President Trump.FO spokesperson said that this is to confirm that PM Shehbaz Sharif has indeed sent a formal letter of congratulations to President Trump on his assumption of office on 20th January. Shafqat Ali Khan said that similarly Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has also congratulated the new Secretary of State.
