Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has taken national political leadership into confidence on armed forces action against Indian acts of infiltration.

PM contacted PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PTI chairman Barrister Gohar, JUI-F chairman Maulana Fazlur Rehman, MQM convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, JI Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, chairman Balochistan Awami Party Khalid Hussain Magsi, PML-Q leader Chaudhry Salik Hussain and president Awami National Party Aimal Wali Khan.

Shehbaz Sharif said our armed forces have given forceful and befitting response to Indian aggression. India launched missile and attack. Pakistan exercised restraint despite these aggressive steps by India.

He remarked Pakistan asked for impartial probe into Pahalgam incident to ascertain facts which was rejected by India. On Saturday India again launched missile attacks on Noor Khan airbase and other sites. Innocent and armless citizens were targeted in Indian attacks.

In operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos , our valiant forces gave befitting response to such persistent Indian attacks . Our forces particularly targeted those Indian military installations from where attacks were launched against Pakistan.

We have given tit for tat reply to India today and avenged blood of innocent people.

We are proud of our armed forces. I congratulate the entire nation including you on this successful operation. We are committed to thwart nefarious designs of our enemy to harm integrity of Pakistan.

The national political leadership paid tribute to courage, resilience and professional skill of Jawans of Pakistan army and assured PM of full cooperation by them and nation in this critical juncture of time.
