Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has made telephonic contact with JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in connection as part of efforts for defusing political tension and resolving the matters through dialogue.

The two exchanged views on overall political situation of the country ,KP situation particularly PTI Long March. Sources said PM made contact with Maulana Fazlur Rehman after the meeting held under him.

It has been told that Maulana Fazlur Rehman once again reiterated his stance that matters be resolved through reconciliation instead of confrontation.

According to sources PM said that political services of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and his reconciliatory attitude have already remained commendable. It is the utmost effort of the federal government that matters are resolved in political way.

It is still time that KP government and opposition should take the matters seriously for setting them right. As per sources PM said government has made every possible effort for political solution of the problems . Government still is ready to address the matters through dialogue. But opposition will have to avoid from mounting federation.

PM said federal government made utmost efforts for improvement in economy. Political stability is indispensible in the country.

PM made it clear problems will become more complicated if assault is launched against federation. Therefore, political differences should be resolved through dialogue and in democratic way.
