PM to visit Tehran on July 30, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch

Islamabad: The Foreign Office Spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has said that Pakistan and Turkmenistan have agreed to expand bilateral trade, investment, energy cooperation, communication and public relations.Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Tehran on July 30 and attend the the oath taking ceremony of the President Elect of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, in Tehran on July 30th, 2024.Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said during the weekly press briefing that Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov visited Pakistan from July 22 to 25, 2024.During the visit, Foreign Minister met with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He also had a detailed discussion with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.The two ministers jointly chaired the third round of Pakistan-Turkmenistan bilateral political consultations, the agenda of the talks included discussions on bilateral trade, investment, energy cooperation, communications and public relations.The spokesperson said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Tehran on July 30. The Prime Minister will participate in the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected Iranian president.The spokesman said that Pakistan raising its voice on every forum for the rights of Palestinians. Pakistan welcomes the declaration of unity by Palestinian political factions in Beijing.We appreciate China's role in bringing together the Palestinian factions for purposeful negotiations. Talking about the occupied Kashmir, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that the international community should take notice of the human rights violations by India in occupied Kashmir.
