Islamabad: The historical peace deal signing ceremony between US and Iran will take place in Geneva.

Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif along with a high level delegation will attend the ceremony.

According to diplomatic sources Pakistan played a dynamic and key role in the reconciliation between US and Iran which is being appreciated at international level.

Sources said PM Shehbaz Sharif made persistent efforts for promotion of diplomatic contacts and regional stability. Field Marshall Syed Asim Munir played his active and effective role at every level in this regard.

The role played by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar is also being described highly appreciable who played prominent role in taking forward peace process through different diplomatic channels.

According to analysts, the agreement between US and Iran will create new prospects for peace, security and economic cooperation in the region. Pakistan efforts in this regard are being seen as significant success.
