Islamabad: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led coalition government expanded its federal cabinet to 46 members, including Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif after 27 new federal ministers, state ministers and advisers took oath at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday.

President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath to the new federal cabinet members at a prestigious ceremony attended by PM Shehbaz Sharif, Senate Chairman Makhdoom Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and senior officials.

The induction of 13 federal ministers, 11 state ministers, and three advisers to the federal cabinet saw the inclusion of the coalition parties in the PM Shehbaz-led government.

Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Muhammad Moeen Wattoo, Syed Mustafa Kamal, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf Zaman, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, Rana Mubashir Iqbal, Muhammad Raza Hayat Hiraj, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry were among the newcomers who took oath as federal ministers.

Additionally, Ali Pervaiz Malik, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, Khalid Hussain Magsi, and Pir Syed Imran Ahmed Shah have also taken oaths as federal ministers.

Senator Muhammad Talal Badar Chaudhry, Barrister Aqeel Malik, Malik Rasheed Ahmed Khan, Chaudhry Armghan Subhani, Kesoo Mal Kheal Das Kohistani, Abdul Rehman Khan Kanju, Bilal Azhar Kayani, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed Bharath, Dr. Shezra Mansab Ali Khan Kharal, Muhammad Aun Saqlain Chaudhry, and Wajiha Qamar were among the 11 new state ministers.

Muhammad Ali, Tauqir Shah and Pervez Khan Khattak also took oath as special advisers in the ceremony.
