Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a cordial and constructive meeting with senior political leadership of PPP, including former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Senator Sherry Rehman, Former Senate Chairman Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and Nadeem Afzal Chan.

Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan 0Cheema, Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah Khan, Senior Minister Punjab Maryam Aurangzeb, Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, Chief Secretary Punjab, and IG Punjab also joined the meeting.

Discussions were focused on the current political and security situation in the country as well as recent regional and global developments.
