PML-N secures simple majority, will form govt in Azad Kashmir: Rana Sana Ullah

Islamabad: Rana Sana Ullah advisor to Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has said transparent elections were held in Azad Kashmir and PML-N has got simple majority to form the government in Azad Kashmir.

PML-N has secured simple majority and it will form government in Azad Kashmir on the basis of public mandate, he added.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad along with federal minister Amir Muqam he said PML-N has won 23 out of 45 seats. Parliamentary committee meeting will be convened soon after 3rd phase of election. on August 10.

He said election was held on 20 seats in second phase and PML-N won 13 seats. PPP could get only 3 seats. PML-N won 4 seats in Muzaffarabad as well.

He stated PML-N won 10 out of 12 refugees seats. PPP achieved success on 2 refugees seats.

He said people of Azad Kashmir has given vote to vision of Nawaz Sharif. We are thankful to them and congratulate all winning candidates.

He said PPP was leveling rigging charges before election and now PPP should tell the nation elections were transparent or otherwise. When evidence of rigging were demanded then first PPP claimed for 13 polling stations. Then this number reduced to 4 and later it remained restricted to 2 polling stations.

He said the name of those who were involved in firing are available with respective institutions. PPP created ruckus . along with action committee which led to cause harm to PML-N in election.
