Rawalpindi: R.A Bazar police has filed interim challan of GHQ attack case against PTI founder, former chief minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and others in the court.The challan said statements by PTI former chairman on social media provoked PTI workers against the army that the workers should take every possible illegal step and carry out action in the form of bands that top military leadership and federal and provincial governments are forced to resign. Due to it May 9 incident took place.On August 01, 2022 during talk show of private TV channel , PTI central spokesperson Dr Shahbaz Gill tried to divide jawans of Pakistan army and officers upto rank of brigadier . He incited them for treason against high ranking officers. Due to this reason case was registered against Shahbaz Gill in police station Kohsar on September 8, 2022.This is first chance in the history of country that any political party conducted targeted attacks against state and military institutions with complete coordination like proscribed Tehreek Taliban Pakistan and other terrorist organizations. Its irrefutable evidence was obtained from PEMRA, FIA and other sources.Judge Amjid Ali Shah of ATC adjourned hearing of the case till October 30 after filing of challan by police.The court has distributed copies of case among the accused persons.
