Islamabad: Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch has said that the political leadership should overcome the political crises through holding negotiations, adding that all should have to move forward while acknowledging their mistakes. He said that leveling allegations against each other, asking one party to tender apology and ignoring the big blunders of others will be against the principles. He said that this policy is not solution of the problems; rather it is hurdle in the way of the resolution of the problems.
This was stated by Liaqat Baloch while addressing the book launching of senior journalist Haji Nawaz Raza titled 'Chaudhry Nisar Ali, Government, Opposition and Parliamentary Memoir' as chief guest. The ceremony was presided over by Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan while senior politician Makhdoom Muhammad Javed Hashmi addressing the ceremony as a special guest. Zamurd Khan, Haji Nawaz Raza and others also addressed the ceremony.
Liaqat Baloch said that whether Chauhdry Nisar Ali Khan was in government or opposition he did active and forceful politics, adding that he has decades-long relation with Chaudhry Nisar and no one could deny his political role.
Liaqat Baloch also addressed the condolence reference of late counselor of Cantonment Board Rawalpindi Haji Yasir Qureshi. Liaqat Baloch also held consultations with Emir JI Islamabad Engineer Nasrullah Randhawa regarding the steps of government and CDA about mosques in Islamabad.
Liaqat Baloch said that the politics of coalition partners has become ineffective, adding that national leadership should evolve consensus on national priorities. He said that the economic crisis is beyond the grip of every government, adding that all stakeholders should evolve consensus on charter of national economy. He said that Pakistan People's Party, MQM and establishment are equally responsible for the destruction of Karachi, adding that contempt of the 30 million voters was committed while snatching the right of mayorship of Karachi from Jamaat-e-Islami.
