Islamabad: Rana Sana Ullah advisor to Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif on political affairs has said politics and democracy move ahead through talks and dialogue and not through dead lock.

"All political forces should sit together for resolution of problems, he said this in a statement issued here Wednesday.

He held PML-N has always strived for Charter of Democracy (COD) and Charter of Economy (COE). PM Shehbaz Sharif made it clear in cabinet meeting on Tuesday that government is ready for dialogue. Invitation for dialogue has been extended to PTI four times before it.

He went on to say PTI founder remained in power for four years. But he never held talks with opposition during his tenure. It has been stance of PTI founder he will neither give NRO nor is ready to shake hands or sit with them. He still does not believe in dialogue.

He observed PTI founder has never done politics nor he adopted political attitude during his 4 years tenure.

Talks , dialogue and resolution of problems are not part of his polic y. On the other side he believes in chaos and anarchy.

He said Suleman Akram Raja and Aleema Khan too repeated the stance what was directed by PTI founder. PTI founder is still giving directives to its party and the May 25, 2022, May 9 and November 26, 2024 incidents were continuation of this policy.

Had the meeting been not controlled then intention was there to create chaos and their all planning is aimed at creating law and order situation, clashes and chaos.

It is set policy of PTI founder to move the real thing hither and thither. The plan for February 8, 2026 wheel jam strike is also part of it. Any bid to create chaos or anarchy will be dealt with iron hands.

He further said Nawaz Sharif is senior politician and his political journey is too long. He has always played role. The way forward will be carved out only when some other sits around table and holds talks.
