Cairo: President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, undertook a four-day visit to Egypt to review relief activities for Gaza.

During the visit, he inspected Alkhidmat's warehouse in Cairo and reviewed preparations of aid packages for displaced Palestinian families. Subsequently, food packages were distributed to 5,600 families in Gaza, while 2,500 families were provided with blankets to protect them from the cold weather.

Former Senior Provincial Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Inayatullah Khan, along with other office-bearers, accompanied him on the occasion. Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman also met orphaned Palestinian children from Gaza who are under Alkhidmat's sponsorship in Cairo, expressed affection for them, and assessed their needs.

Alkhidmat is currently sponsoring 850 orphaned Palestinian children inside Gaza. In addition, in Cairo, Alkhidmat is providing accommodation and all essential needs of life to 120 orphaned children from 57 Palestinian families who migrated from Gaza to Egypt.

During a meeting with Pakistan's Ambassador to Egypt, Aamir Shaukat, President Alkhidmat Dr. Hafeezur Rehman briefed him on the ongoing relief activities for the victims of Gaza, the 'Rebuild Gaza' projects, and the needs of the affected people. The Pakistani ambassador appreciated Alkhidmat's relief efforts for the affected families of Gaza and reaffirmed continued cooperation.
