President Alkhidmat Foundation visits adjoining areas of Rawalpindi affected from the recent heavy rains and flood

Rawalpindi: President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman made an emergency visit to the adjoining areas of Rawalpindi district affected from the recent heavy rains and flood. During the visit, President Alkhidmat Foundation reviewed the activities of the Alkhidmat Disaster Management team and paid rich tribute to the volunteers for their untiring efforts and hard work in saving the human lives and precious properties.

Alkhidmat Disaster Management team briefed President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman regarding rescue and relief operations, which include the performance of the local teams, needs of the affectees and ongoing relief activities. The Alkhidmat Volunteers played an important role in timely response, rescue operation and provision of food items.

On the occasion Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman also met with the affected families, listened their problems and provided relief goods. President Alkhidmat Foundation assured the affected families that Alkhidmat Foundation stands with them in every difficult time and every possible cooperation will be extended to them in future also.

Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman on the occasion said that Alkhidmat Foundation remains at the forefront for immediately helping the affected people during natural disasters and emergency situations in whole Pakistan. He said that the volunteers are our asset who without caring about their lives following the mission of serving the humanity and saving the lives of others. He said that thousands of families have been affected due to the ongoing rains and flooding in streams and nullahs in different areas.
