Islamabad: In his condolence message to the bereaved family, the President said Mr. Altaf Qureshi had served the party with dedication from his student days in NSF to his roles as advisor to Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. His contributions as a journalist at Musawat newspaper, PPP Punjab Information Secretary, and President of the PPP Study Circle Central Punjab were invaluable.

President Zardari said that today the People's Party has lost a loyal soldier and the country has lost a veteran journalist.

He prayed for the departed soul and offered condolences to the bereaved family.
