Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has conveyed his warm felicitations to His Majesty Emperor Naruhito, the Empress, and the people of Japan on the occasion of Japan's National Foundation Day and Birthday.

In a letter, the President highlighted the longstanding and cordial relations between Pakistan and Japan, noting that the bilateral partnership spans a wide range of fields and is anchored in a shared commitment to international peace, stability and development.

The President expressed confidence that, under the guidance of His Majesty Emperor Naruhito, Pakistan-Japan relations would continue to deepen and strengthen in the years ahead.

President Zardari also extended his sincere wishes for the good health of Their Majesties and for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Japan.
