Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on the historic occasion of Pakistan Air Force Day have commended all ranks of Pakistan Air Force for their outstanding performance throughout its professional history. They said that Pakistan Air Force has indeed displayed its professional capability, prowess and dominance in Aerial Conflicts since decades.

This was stated by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in their separated messages on Pakistan Air Force Day.

President Zardari said 'On the historic occasion of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Day, I appreciate all personnel of the PAF for their outstanding performance all along and pay tribute to Shuhada for their ultimate sacrifice. Certainly, the founding fathers of PAF laid the foundation of this elite organisation in line with Quaid's vision of an air force being second to none and developed it accordingly, pursuing excellence in all domains. We are proud that PAF has amply displayed its capability, professional prowess and dominance in aerial conflicts over decades'.

President Zardari said 'Of late, PAF in synergy with sister services played a decisive role in Marka-e-Haq and inflicted a crushing punch on the adversary, which stunned the entire world. No doubt, PAF's outstanding performance was the outcome of bold leadership, tactical brilliance of combat crew, excellent planning and well-orchestrated employment of multi-domain warfare capabilities acquired in recent years on the strength of a comprehensive strategy of modernisation and indigenisation. I am proud that PAF once again upheld the glorious legacy of fighting the outnumbered, which has always been its hallmark. Undoubtedly, our heroes in blue proved through their heroism that no matter how strong and resourceful the enemy is, it can never undermine our will and resolve. The PAF of today is the living tribute to these valiant souls who carved out PAF's history with their blood'.

President Zardari said 'On this special day, I am confident that, as always, PAF will rise to the occasion and stand ever ready to defend sovereignty and aerial frontiers of Pakistan. Pakistan Air Force Zindabad!, Pakistan Paindabad!'

Meanwhile PM Shehbaz Sharif in his message said 'On the historic occasion of Pakistan Air Force Day, I commend all ranks of Pakistan Air Force for their outstanding performance throughout its professional history. Pakistan Air Force has indeed displayed its professional capability, prowess and dominance in Aerial Conflicts since decades. This distinguished organization has a proud history of sacrifice, velour as well as professionalism and always responded to the nation's call with profound courage'.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said 'In September 1965, the passion and resolve of Pakistan Air Force aviators to safeguard the aerial frontiers of Pakistan duly rendered them victorious in the vastness of skies. They laid down their precious lives for the defence of the motherland. It is certainly a national honour to pay glowing tributes to Shuhada for their supreme sacrifices'.

He said that in the same vein, last year in May 2025, when the aggressor once again challenged a peace-loving country, Pakistan Air Force, in perfect synergy with Sister Services, defeated the adversary during Marka-e-Haq on the strength of bold leadership, tactical brilliance of combat crew, excellent planning and well-orchestrated employment of Multi-Domain Warfare Capabilities acquired in recent years through a comprehensive strategy of modernization and indigenization. The nation is proud that Pakistan Air Force once again upheld the glorious legacy of fighting the outnumbered, which has always been its hallmark!'.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said 'On this special day, I wish continued professional success and progress to Pakistan Air Force. I am sure, as always, Pakistan Air Force will rise to any possible occasion to defend sovereignty and aerial frontiers of Pakistan. Pakistan Air Force Zindabad!, Pakistan Paindabad!'.
