Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended security forces for conducting a successful intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan.

President Asif Ali Zardari, in a statement, commended the bravery and professional capabilities of the security forces for eliminating five terrorists and injuring two others during the operation. He said that the timely and effective operations by the security forces were playing a vital role in thwarting the nefarious designs of terrorist elements.

President Zardari reiterated that operations against terrorists would continue until the eradication of terrorism.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said operations against terrorists will continue until the complete elimination of terrorism. He said complete eradication of terrorism and sustainable peace under Azm-e-Istehkam vision is the government's top priority.
