Maryam Nawaz said democracy empowers the public to decide themselves through their own representatives.Meanwhile Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said democracy is a continuous journey which moves forward on the b asic principles of public welfare, justice and equality.In a message on World Democracy Day, he said a great struggle has been made for the restoration and stability of democracy in the country.
