Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the blatant Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In a statement President Asif Ali Zardari said Israeli military strikes are a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iran, and amount to total disregard of the United Nations Charter and fundamental principles of international law.
The President conveyed his deepest sympathies to the brotherly people of Iran on the loss of lives in this attack. He also urged the international community and the United Nations to hold the aggressor accountable and take immediate action to prevent the situation from further escalation.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a post on X handle, conveyed his deepest sympathies to the Iranian people on the loss of lives in this attack.
He said this grave and highly irresponsible act is deeply alarming and risks further de-stabilizing an already volatile region.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said that we urge the international community and the United Nations to take urgent steps to prevent any further escalation that could imperil regional and global peace.
