President Zardari praises the remarkable development taking place in China

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has returned to the country after his visit to China. During the visit, the President toured Chengdu, Shanghai, Urumqi, and Kashgar. He held meetings with provincial leadership during the trip.

Discussions were held on Pakistan-China relations, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and future connectivity projects. The meetings also covered regional peace, development, and cooperation. Several Memorandums of Understanding were signed during the visit.

President Asif Ali Zardari's visit reaffirms the commitment to the Pakistan-China strategic partnership.

Earlier on Sunday, President Asif Ali Zardari left for home after concluding his visit to China. At the Kashi Laining International Airport, he was warmly seen off by Communist Party Secretary of Kashgar and Vice Governor of Xinjiang, Nie Zhuang.

The Pakistan's Ambassador to China and the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan were also present at the airport.

Speaking on this occasion, the President extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Chinese leadership for their hospitality during his visit.

He praised the remarkable development taking place in China, particularly in the Xinjiang region, under the visionary leadership of President Xi Jinping.
