Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari visited Prime Minister House, Islamabad on Monday to condole with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif over the death of his cousin Mian Shahid Shafi.

President Asif Ali Zardari prayed for eternal peace of the deceased and patience for his family.

The President also telephoned Javed Shafi, the elder brother of late Mian Shahid Shafi and conveyed his condolences.

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Federal Ministers Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Ataullah Tarar Advocate, Chaudhry Azam Nazir Tarar Advocate, Advisor to PM on Political and Public Affairs and Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah Khan, Advisor to PM on Prime Minister's Office Dr. Syed Tauqir Hussain Shah and former finance minister Senator Saleem Mandviwala were also present on the occasion.
