Islamabad: The General Secretary of the CDA Mazdoor Union (CBA), Chaudhry Muhammad Yaseen, President Aurangzeb Khan, Chairman Raja Shakir Zaman Kiani, Supreme Head Mirza Saeed Akhtar, Haji Raja Sabir, Muhammad Asim Malik, Izhar Abbasi, Chaudhry Wajid Gujar, Chaudhry Abrar,Chaudhry Naseem Mumtaz,Asad Mahmood, Muhammad Sarfraz Malik,Chaudhry Munir,Raja Ghulam Murtaza,Malik Dilshad,Kaleemullah Zimri,Ashfaq Gujar,Malik Muhammad Aslam,Malik Akmal Shehzad, Gohar Elahi,Shahid Satti,Shahid Gujar and other office-bearers extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to all Christian employees working in the CDA as well as to the Christian community across Pakistan on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam's birthday and Christmas.
They said that Christmas is a festival of peace, brotherhood, love and happiness and that the CDA Mazdoor Union has set an excellent example of Muslim-Christian unity. As always, this time too they shared in the joys of their Christian brothers and sisters which will certainly increase love and help eliminate hatred. They further said that the distinguishing feature of the CDA Mazdoor Union is that it serves all employees beyond the distinctions of color, race and religion. Just as a Hajj policy was formulated for Muslim employees, approval was also obtained for Christian employees for their religious destination, Vatican City.
They said that the Christian community is a patriotic and peace-loving community of Pakistan and its role in national development is commendable. They added that the CDA Mazdoor Union (CBA) has always equally shared in the celebrations of the Christian community and will continue to uphold this tradition of brotherhood and unity in the future. They emphasized that the example set by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (RA) for the protection of minority rights remains a guiding light for us even today.
They further said that on this day we should renew our pledge to make the golden principles of the Father of the Nation, Faith, Unity and Discipline a part of our practical lives and to play our full role in making Pakistan a great and strong state.
