Islamabad: Case has been registered against Akhunzada Hussain Yusuf and former Senator Mushtaq for staging protest in support of Kashmiris and the court has handed over Senator Mushtaq to police on physical remand for three days.

Case has been registered against him for staging protest to express solidarity with Kashmiris in sector F-10 Markaz Islamabad.

According to FIR context, 400 to 500 persons were included in protest and the demonstrators blocked the road and suspended the traffic. The demonstrators refused to disperse despite police warning.

The protesters attacked DSNG of media. They put up resistance against police and damaged government vehicles.

The FIR said the demonstrators pelted stones leaving several police men injured.

The clauses of terrorism have also been included in the case.

Later police presented arrested Senator Mushtaq Ahmad and the accused Danial in the court of duty judge Rakhshanda Shaheen.

The court handed over Senator Mushtaq and others to police on 3 days physical remand.

Police said vehicle and arms have to be recovered from the accused.

Prosecution had requested for 30 days physical remand .

The police have registered case against the accused persons in police station Shalimar.
