Islamabad: PTI leaders and others have been indicted in the case pertaining to protest over Imran Khan disqualification .
The protest in Faizabad on disqualification of Imran Khan case came up for hearing in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad led by Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra Wednesday.
The court indicted the accused persons while the accused pleaded not guilty.
Faisal Javed Khan, Aamir Kiyani, Wasiq Qayyum and other accused appeared in the court.
The PTI counsels requested the court to defer the indictment.
Judge Tahir Abbas remarked everywhere it is said cases have been registered but trial is not being conducted. This is said by you people. Or you should say that cases be not tried.
Counsel Sardar Masroof Khan advocate said that thing is not about these cases. This thing is about political cases.
The court remarked your acquittal pleas have been dismissed. Now these have been challenged too.
The court ordered Raja Rashid Hafeez to deposit surety bond worth Rs one lac remarking Rashid Hafeez will not leave court room unless he deposits surety bond.
The court while summoning prosecution witnesses on next hearing of the case adjourned the hearing till May 12.
Counsels Sardar Masroof Khan and Zahid Bashir Dar appeared in the court on behalf of the accused.
The accused Faisal Javed Khan, Wasiq Qayyum, Aamir Kiyani and others are nominated in the case.
Case is registered in police station I-9 Islamabad.
