Islamabad: PTI has decided to contest by election in NA -129 Lahore besides boycotting by polls on the seats which have fallen vacant due to disqualification of its members of assembly.

A communiqu© issued by PTI political committee said that party will participate in NA- 129 Lahore by polls.

The communiqu© said we thank PTI founder that he reposed full trust on political committee. Political matters have been assigned to political party for further consultation.

The communiqu© said PTI expresses grave concern over day to day hearing of Toshakhana -2 case in Adiala Jail. This will affect basic rights of the accused persons. Daily hearing will put impediment on administration of justice.

The communiqu© further said PTI considers its assembly members real representatives of party who have been disqualified in May 9 related cases. We pay tribute to the assembly members who have been awarded undue and unjust punishment. The by polls in the constituencies of disqualified members of PTI will be boycotted.

The by polls in NA-129 Lahore will be contested. We have decided to field candidate on the seat which has fallen vacant due to death of Mian Azhar.

Under the directives of PTI founder we announce resignation from National Assembly Public Accounts Committee. Members of assembly have been directed to resign from chairman ship and membership of standing committees.
