Islamabad: PTI has demanded for release of Imran Khan in view of tense situation between Pakistan and India.

Demand was made in joint communiqu© of PTI political committee and core committee issued here Thursday.

According to joint statement Pakistan is standing at critical juncture of time and announcement for high alert has been made in response to Indian threats. At this time when national unity and trusted leadership is inevitable, the country is being led by a silent and negligent government while the most trusted leader of country is behind the bar.

PTI joint statement said India which is running in line with RSS ideology under the leadership of Modi is grave threat to regional peace. We strongly condemn the dangerous designs regarding support and imposition of this war which is threat to stability of region.

Hero of Balakot, Imran Khan is demonstrating power and clear reaction from behind the bars.

Despite 2 years unjust detention, denial of legal and family access Imran Khan is the only leader who is demanding for defence of sovereignty of Pakistan and national unity.

Message of Imran Khan is very clear that peace is our priority but it should not be construed cowardice.

The joint statement said leadership of Imran Khan is indispensible in this hour of crisis. His capability to keep the nation dynamic and united, his credibility on national security and unwavering resolve are matchless.

Keeping Imran Khan silent and in solitary confinement is not only sheer injustice but also is enmity with nation and country.
