Islamabad: PTI has challenged practice and procedure presidential ordinance in Supreme Court (SC).Barrister Gohar filed constitutional petition against presidential ordinance in SC making federation, law ministry and secretary to president respondents.The petitioner has requested in the petition that practice and procedure presidential ordinance be declared unconstitutional. All the decisions of practice and procedure committee be annulled after declaring the ordinance unconstitutional.It was further prayed in the petition that the new practice, procedure committee be barred from working till the constitutional petition remains pending.During the petition old practice and procedure committee be allowed to function.Earlier this ordinance has been challenged in provincial courts and SC. In some courts decision has been reserved. Lahore High Court and Sindh high court have heard such petitions and reserved judgment on the maintainability of the petitions.
