Islamabad: PTI delegation has visited residence of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad and the leaders discussed the prevailing political situation in the country and regional situation.

PTI delegation comprised former National Assembly speaker Asad Qaisar, provincial president Junaid Akbar and Shahram Tarkai while Maulana Salah ud Din, Jalal ud Din advocate and Maulan Asjid Mehmood from JUI-F side attended the meeting.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman hosted dinner in honor of the delegation.

Consultations were made with Maulana Fazlur Rehman on PTI proposal for holding jirga with reference to law and order situation in KP.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman welcomed proposal for national jirga.

PTI delegation appealed to Maulana Fazalur Rehman to play his role for uniting opposition. Consensus was reached on nomination of Mehmood Khan Achakzai as opposition leader.

PTI delegation requested JUI-F for cooperation on Senate vacant seat in KP assembly.
