Islamabad: PTI has filed petition in Supreme Court (SC) seeking formation of larger bench in PTI intra party election review case.In the petition Election Commission (EC) and others have been made respondents.The petitioner has taken plea the point of constitutional interpretation is there in the case. The bench while hearing case earlier dismissed the objection wrongly. The constitution of this bench for hearing constitutional objection is not legal. EC could not go to court against party by becoming aggrieved party. Bench should be constituted comprising five or eight judges.Mention has been made in the petition about the decision of reserved seats. Decisions, observations are there on the conduct of EC.Review petition be accepted by constituting larger bench. Larger bench be constituted under practice and procedure act committee.
