Islamabad: Big movement forward has come to open in regard to appeals of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in 190 million pounds case.

Registrar Islamabad High Court (IHC) has said that appeal plea of PTI founder does not seem to be fixed in 2025.

This has been said in the statement from Registrar IHC.

Registrar office has filed report in the bench of acting chief justice.

According to report appeal against death sentence which was filed in 2017 is fixed in the oldest court. The appeals are fixed on their turn after they are filed.

According to the report, 279 convict appeals are currently pending before the IHC, including 63 death sentence appeals and 73 against life imprisonment. Of these, 88 cases involve sentences of over seven years, while 55 have sentences of up to seven years.

It has been further said in the report that appeal by PTI founder is in motion stage at present. First paper box will be prepared on this appeal and then it will be fixed on its turn.
