PTI founder moves IHC on matter of his meeting with lawyers. political leaders


Islamabad: PTI founder Imran Khan has filed miscellaneous petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) in connection with his meeting with lawyers and political leaders.

Imran Khan has earlier got relief through petitions in this respect.

Interior secretary, chief commissioner and superintendent Adiala jail have been made respondents in the petition.

Petition has been filed through barrister Ali Zafar.

The petition said that IHC February 26 order regarding his meetings be got implemented fully. Political leaders and counsels are not being allowed to meet him. According to decision 6 lawyers and 6 political leaders can meet him two days in a week. But jail authorities are not implementing this decision fully.

It has been said in the petition the petitioner is not serving sentence in any case at present. PTI founder is in jail on judicial remand.

The court was requested to take notice of violation of basic rights of PTI founder besides initiating proceedings on non implementation of court’s orders.

The pe
tition further said that the court should summon report on implementation of its orders fully.
