Islamabad: PTI founder Imran Khan while challenging transfer of 3 judges in Islamabad High Court (IHC) has filed constitutional petition in Supreme Court (SC)
Transfer of three judges in IHC has been challenged through the petition making federal government and registrars of Lahore High Court, Sindh High Court, Balochistan high court and Islamabad high court respondents.
The petitioner has requested the court through the petition to nullify the transfer of three judges to IHC. The court should order to ensure transparency in the perspective of Aljihad Trust case. The court should maintain use of article 200 is possible only with detailed consultation.
According to text of the petition the judges already working in IHC are being subjected to victimization. Judges of IHC had raised voice against interference. IHC judges had wrapped up cases against me on merit.
PTI founder took the plea that a judge was brought and was inducted as acting chief justice without taking oath. These all tactics are being carried out to stifle independence of judiciary.
