PTI founder,Bushra Bibi could not be indicted in Toshakhana -2 case

Rawalpindi: PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi could not be indicted in Toshakhana-2 case Tuesday.The case came up for hearing before special judge central Shahrukh Arjumand in Adiala jail Rawalpindi.The court gave time to PTI founder till October 31 for appointing lawyers.PTI founder was presented in court room.Exemption plea from attendance in respect of Bushra Bibi was submitted in the court.FIA prosecutor opposed the exemption plea.FIA prosecutor Umair Majeed took the plea grant of bail does not mean the accused should not appear in the court. The signature of Bushra Bibi too are not made on the exemption plea. The court had fixed Tuesday for indictment.Prosecutor requested the court trial of Toshakhana-2 case be conducted on day to day basis.The court while accepting exemption plea of Bushra Bibi issued notice to her for appearing on next hearing.PTI founder sought time from the court to appoint counsel.PTI founder said time was not given during the last three weeks for meeting and consultation with the lawyers.PTI founder gave four names to court for consultation.Name of barrister Ali Zafar, Barrister Gohar, Suleman Akram Raja and Barrister Suleman Safdar are also included in the lawyers.The court gave time to PTI founder for consultation with the lawyers till October 31 making it clear that last chance is being given for appointment of the lawyers. If lawyers are not appointed till next hearing then court will appoint state counsel.The court adjourned the hearing of the case till November 2.
