Islamabad: PTI leader Ali Bokhari has challenged the Election Commission (EC) decision on changing the Election Tribunal.The petitioner while making EC and others respondents took the plea in the petition that EC gave decision to change the tribunal but it did not make consultation with the Chief Justice.The petitioner prayed the Supreme Court (SC) to nullify the EC June 10 decision on changing the tribunal.It was also requested in the petition that Islamabad High Court (IHC) September 19 decision be also declared null and void.The petitioner requested that the decisions of IHC and EC be annulled and previous tribunal be restored.It is pertinent to mention here Justice Tariq Jahangiri of IHC was heading ET and PML-N candidates had challenged ET led by Justice Tariq Jahangiri in EC.The EC had changed ET on the plea of PML-N candidates.
