PTI Minar-e-Pakistan rally: Petitioner directed to challenge the decision of DC Lahore regarding rejection of permission plea

Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) while rejecting PTI plea for holding rally at Minar-e-Pakistan on March 22 has wrapped up the petition.

Justice Farooq Haider of Lahore High Court (LHC) while directing the petitioner to challenge Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore decision in connection with rejection of application seeking permission for holding public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan by PTI on March 22 has wrapped up the petition.

The petition filed by Akbar Khan Bari came up for hearing before Justice Farooq Haider of LHC for hearing Friday.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore while rejecting the plea for organizing rally at Minar-e-Pakistan by PTI gave report that permission cannot be accorded to PTI for holding rally at Minar-e-Pakistan.

PTI had resorted to LHC on March 10 for seeking permission to hold rally at Minar-e-Pakistan on March 22.

Petition was filed by PTI leader Akmal Khan Bari in LHC making chief secretary Punjab, DC Lahore and others respondents.
