Islamabad: Law minister Azam Nazir Tarar has presented 27th constitutional amendment in Senate.

Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, presiding over the session, read the amended clauses one by one for voting, while opposition members protested the controversial bill and staged a walkout.

Opposition while voicing protest tore up the copies of agenda.

PTI senator Saifullah Abroo did not join protest. He has supported constitutional amendment.

As per media reports, JUI-F Senator Ahmad Khan stood up in support of amendment. PTI Saifullah Abroo, JUI-F Ahmad Khan have cost votes in support of the amendment.
